Franciacorta Brut DOCG Sparkling Wine, Duca di Montottone
Fresh, lively and appealing, perfect for uncorking as an aperitif with friends, but also simply for sipping throughout a meal, whenever you fancy a sparkling wine that’s not too demanding yet of the highest quality: the Franciacorta Brut DUCA DI MONTOTTONE ticks all these boxes.
It is a sparkling wine that undergoes 20 months of ageing on the lees in the bottle, resulting in a taste where fruit and freshness harmonise perfectly with hints of bread crust and yeast.
TASTING NOTES
Straw-yellow in colour, with a fine, persistent effervescence. The nose opens with floral notes, followed by delicate fruity hints and classic hints of bread crust, yeast and pastries.
On the palate, it is well-balanced, fresh and smooth, pleasant and with good length.
PAIRINGS
Perfect as an aperitif, it’s also lovely to sip throughout a meal.
Ideal with a platter of fried fish.
